Trustworthiness

We will have to reserve our judgment as to whether or not FairPlay is truly trustworthy or not. Since they have only been around for about a year, not many reviews about them are out there yet and we couldn’t find many comments from actual customers either. Indeed, the reviews we did find were quite basic, which is why we are hoping to give you a better idea about FairPlay by the end of our review.

On the homepage, you will find a Curacao eGaming logo, which indicates that this is where FairPlay is licensed. The licensing number or any further information about the company’s registration is not available anywhere, at least not as far as we have seen. If such pertinent information is not easily found, it is generally not a great sign, and this lack of transparency raises questions for us.

On the other hand, we have not seen any downright negative reviews about FairPlay either. Some customers seem to like it here, others are happy with the fast payouts. There appears to be no mention that this is a betting exchange that should be avoided.

Since FairPlay primarily welcomes customers from India and is still very new, we are unable to tell just how many people have actually used this betting exchange.

As such, we are taking a ‘wait and see’ approach with them. Before we are ready to consider FairPlay trustworthy, we want to see the company details, registration number and Curacao eGaming license. None of that is available on the homepage, though you may try and contact customer service for further details.

At this time, if you want to try them out, we must recommend that you only make small deposits, bets and several withdrawals to test them thoroughly.

Cricket betting and other sports

Telling you exactly what cricket betting options you may have at FairPlay is a little bit difficult. When you visit their homepage, you will see the different sections of this betting site, which gives you access to inplay betting, cricket betting, soccer, tennis, a premium sportsbook, a live casino, live card games and slots.

Alas, most of these areas require you to first create an account before you get to see what is available. This might also explain why most reviews we have seen about FairPlay are rather limited. We’ve tried our best, but we decided not to create an account here to get a better look at them.

Thankfully, cricket, football and tennis betting are accessible on the site, so we can tell you a few things about that.

At the time of our review, you were able to back or lay bets on the following events:

• Abu Dhabi T10
• Women’s Big Bash League

Keep in mind that this is a betting exchange, which means that your options are somewhat limited. If no one backs or lays a particular bet, it will not be available for you. At the same time, odds are usually quite different to what you would get from a traditional bookmaker. The good news is that these odds are without any margins applied by the bookmaker, which means you get what you get.

The premium sportsbook appears to be a more traditional sportsbook, which may very well have further betting options available for customers.

Tennis and football betting are also available at the exchange and many leagues and events are available here, which is great.

We did ask the customer service which other sports might be available to bet on in the premium sportsbook, but they mostly asked us to login in and take a look ourselves. When we specifically asked for basketball, rugby or kabaddi, they eventually confirmed that betting on basketball and rugby was available, but not on kabaddi.

As such, we recommend you try the customer service team to find out more about your betting options if you don’t want to sign up right away. Expect that they will first ask you to register, however, so you should be specific about your questions.

Games and more

Since the live casino tables, card games and slot sections can also not be accessed unless you register an account, we know only so much about it. The customer service team told us that they have over 100 games available, though we expect that they were referring to card games and live tables. They will surely provide more than 100 slot games.

On the main page, you can see that roulette, baccarat, blackjack, various card games, Andar Bahar, Teen Patti, Dream Catcher and many other games are available at FairPlay.

Games are provided by developers such as Microgaming, Evolution Gaming, Booongo, BetSoft, Ezugi, Realtime Gaming and a few more. This gives you a good idea of which games to expect here, though we don’t think that you will find the big jackpot games from Microgaming here.

Bonuses and promotions

When you first land on the FairPlay.Club homepage, you will see a large banner at the top of the page highlighting various promotions and upcoming events. So, we do know that bonuses and promotions are available. Unless you register an account, you won’t be able to learn much about these promotions, however.

The welcome bonus gives you 100% on your first deposit, but we don’t know the maximum amount you can claim or what the bonus conditions are. The FAQs do mention a turnover of 20x of the bonus money but give no further details.

Beyond the welcome bonus, FairPlay also offers a 5% referral bonus and a 12% interest on your FairPlay balance. We’re not sure exactly how that works, but it does sound interesting enough to check out.

Additionally, there is a loyalty club for members at FairPlay, which you automatically join upon signing up. It comes with four levels, which you can climb depending on your deposits and turnover at FairPlay. Once you have reached a certain level, you will receive a percentage in bonus funds for every deposit you make, starting at 0, then 2%, 4% and finally 6% on the platinum level. The good news is that there is no cap on the bonus funds you can receive.

Once again, we’re not getting as many details as we’d like to see, but at least we know that there is some incentive to signing up at FairPlay.

Banking options

It is probably not surprising that there is no separate banking page at FairPlay. The homepage does show the logos of several payment options that are available for deposits and withdrawals.

This includes UPI, PayPal, PayTM, PhonePe, GPay, bank transfers and various cryptocurrencies. It’s all quite straightforward and certainly convenient for customer from India.

The main currency accepted at FairPlay is indeed INR, though international customers are able to use services such as GPay or PayPal and use other currencies to make a transfer.

Further details about deposits and withdrawals are available in the FAQs, which even includes information about maximum and minimum withdrawals and deposits. There is some helpful information here, which is more than we can say about other bookmakers.

Whilst the site makes no mention of it, you can expect there to be a KYC process as well. That means you will have to verify your ID eventually. If you do decide to sign up here, we generally recommend you get it done sooner rather than later to avoid delays with your withdrawals.

Support

The good news is the customer service team is available 24/7 via live chat, email and various social media channels. There is even a WhatsApp option, which is particularly handy if you access FairPlays mobile page and just click the little green WhatsApp button.

There is an FAQ section, which provides some information in advance. And you will be able to browse through a ‘rules and regulations’ page, which explains some betting and gambling rules at FairPlay.

There is no ‘Terms and Conditions’ page, however, which we find a serious oversight.

Since a lot of important information is unavailable on the homepage or cannot be accessed unless you register an account, you are likely going to have to talk to customer services. When we tried them out, we did not have to wait long for a response, but the answers we received were not necessarily satisfactory. Telling us to “register and take a look” is supremely unhelpful. We specifically told the rep that we did not want to register yet and that they should be able to provide us with the information we requested.

Eventually, they did give us that information (as mentioned above), but once again prompted us to just register and take a look for ourselves, even if we didn’t want to play, which was “fine”.

So, you will get answers, but whether you will like them is a different matter.

Software

FairPlay.Club is not the most sophisticated betting site we have visited. The design is alright, and the layout is classic. There are various menus and links you can access, though sometimes you end up simply on the homepage or on the registration page, which can be frustrating.

The large banner at the top of the landing page is somewhat annoying since it rolls through the different promotions and events quite quickly and you can barely glance at the information on display.

Beyond that, the navigation is easy enough and the page loads quickly. We expect that full access after registration will provide a satisfactory experience.

You will also be able to use the mobile page, which is pleasant to use as well. There is no dedicated mobile app for Android or iOS at this time.

Summary

Giving you a final verdict about FairPlay is quite difficult. We would like to know who is actually behind this betting exchange and get generally a better access to all aspects of the site without having to first register. In other words, we need a clearer picture of what we are dealing with here.

On the surface, we are getting a betting exchange, which provides some good betting options to casual punters, plenty of live table games customers from India are interested in and a range of fun slots.

But none of this is enough to recommend FairPlay without reservation. There is nothing that should truly stop you from checking them out. You can easily register here and if you don’t find what you are looking for, you don’t ever have to make a deposit or use them again.

If you do sign up and find everything to your liking, we still recommend that you proceed with caution and only make small deposits, safe bets and several withdrawals. There are many better betting sites for cricket out there, which have proven their trustworthiness. But we also want to give FairPlay the benefit of the doubt.
