My Current Intel Core 2 build
"Caiçara"
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
Hard Drive: 320GB (WD Blue? It has no label.)
Ram: 8GB
Display: Some old crufty OEM display from Positivo Informatica, likely dates back to 2006. 1024*768*16M @ 60Hz
Case: Full-tower ATX "Vinik Gamer Aquila", Made in Brazil obviously.
Operating Systems: Windows 98 SE (because I could!), MS-DOS 6.22, Windows NT 3.51, Windows 10 1809
Comments: I was desperate for whatever scrap of computing power I could get so I hacked together parts from my previous build into this monstrosity you see here. Used to have a GT 710 card until the power company fucked it up with a bad outage.
Left image from September 2020 from when I assume it was damaged, right image taken today (10/18/21).
My Previous 775 build
"Tamanduateí"
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
Hard Drive: WD Blue 500GB, later on some unnamed 320GB clunker.
Ram: 4GB
Display: An actual 19" Philco widescreen mini-TV set from 2016. It died out early this year. 1280*800*16M @ 75Hz
Case: Full-tower ATX "WiseCase ATX RJAC-3308", used to be very common for a while in the mid 2010s but it seems like they don't make them anymore.
Operating Systems: Windows 7 SP1, Ubuntu MATE 16.04 LTS
Comments: I got that piece of trash in December 2017 right as I was shipping out of São Paulo and it barely lasted me by a year later as the motherboard was totally fucked, two fans had died on me and I had gotten a hard drive failure six months in. Mind you, I bought it "new" from a store. I recycled whatever was left of it into my current build.
  My Semp Toshiba NI1403
CPU: Intel Celeron Dual Core N2830
Hard Drive: Toshiba OEM 500GB
Ram: 4GB
Display: 14" 1366*768*16M
Case: It's a laptop.
Operating Systems: Windows 8.1, later on Windows 7
Comments: My mom gave me it as a gift in October 2015. Absolutely atrocious performance even at the time and the manufacturer had the gall to bundle Windows 8 with it. I remember Microsoft pushed Windows 10 on it and I immediately reformatted it to run Windows 7. The computer itself lasted until 2017 when the screen literally cracked and the entire thing just fell apart.
My HP Pavilion DM1
CPU: AMD E-350 Dual Core 1.66 GHz
Hard Drive: 320GB
Ram: 2GB
Display: 11.6" 1366*760*16M
Case: It's a laptop.
Operating Systems: Windows 7 Starter
Comments: My first ever personal computer. I got it on Christmas 2012. In hindsight it was an awful piece of shit but by 2012-13 standards (and my younger self) it was alright. I even got it to run Mafia II on the lowest settings!
