The year 2000 has made it across two timezones of the United States. So far there have not been any major problems on the east coast. Also there have not been major problems in the Central Time Zone. I do know that in San Antonio, TX, the police's Mobile Data Tranmitter (their primary communications) have gone down. Now they have to use backup communications.
