The Blessed Sacrament in Chapel of
Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church
(These prayers are said here each Tuesday
in a Holy Hour, Beginning at 3:00 pm.)
Before we go any further, let us invoke the Holy Spirit and ask Him to bless us and enlighten us as we continue our prayers.
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of us your faithful and kindle in us the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and we shall be created. And you shall renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray
O God, who by the light of the Holy spirit, instructs the hearts of the faithful, grant, that by the same Holy spirit we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in His consolations, through Christ our Lord.
I believe, Lord, that your are here present. Although my eyes do not see you, my faith senses you. Take any stray thoughts from my mind. Make me understand the truths which you wish to teach me in this meditation. Let me make up my mind to put them into practice. Your servant is listening; speak Lord, to my soul. Amen.
Praise be to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Creator and sustainer of all life.
Lord , hear the words of your internet family which is gathered here before you from all over the world. We come to offer our prayers of praise and thanksgiving, and to stand up for life, especially for the unborn. We pray, Lord, that you will guard and protect these little ones, who are so very helpless, and totally unable to protect themselves, and that you will assure them their right to life.
We pray also for all pregnant mothers, that they may have the joy of seeing, holding, caring for, and loving their babies.
We ask the great Holy Spirit to teach all people that human existence begins at the first moment of conception and lasts until natural death. For surely, you alone, as the giver of life, have any right to take life away.
We pray especially for the conversion of our government leaders, members of the medical profession, and all who condone, advocate, promote, or participate in the sin of abortion.
We pray for your people who are now standing against abortion, even in the face of economic loss, arrest or persecution. We pray that they will not lose hope, and that you will give them the strength and endurance necessary to carry on this war with evil.
Finally, we pray that you forgive us for our indifference, and for not doing more to stop this abomination in our country and in the world.
We offer our prayers through Mary, your mother and our mother, in Jesus' most precious name. Amen.

Pour forth, we beseech you, O Lord, Your grace into our hearts, that we to whom the incarnation of lChrist, your Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.

God Our Father, you give joy to the world by the resurrection of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Through the prayers of his mother, the Virgin Mary, bring us the happiness of eternal life. We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

PRAYERS OF THANKSGIVING
We thank you Dear Lady
For 500 years of Christianity in the Americas following the discovery of our continent by Christopher Columbus.
For the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe and her motherly protection.
For the blessings given to the Americas through the Immaculate heart of Mary.
We ask you Dear Lady
To bring purification, forgiveness, reconciliation and healing to the church, our priests and religious.
To intercede as patroness of pro-life, for the end of abortion and respect for life.
To protect marriages and families, especially the youth, from false teachings and worldly temptations and bring healing to all family relationships.
To bring reconcilliation, healing and unity to all cultures in the Americas through the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
To draw the spiritually poorest to her Son, Jesus, Our Lord.
To bring an increase of religious vocations and a generous response to the Lord's call.
Now, let us offer our own petitions and intercessions, either vocally or in silence.
Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of the Americas, look in compassion on your children. We need your help to keep the faith, to preserve the family, to work together for justice with forbearance and forgiveness, to live and grow in charity.
With our whole heart, we consecrate ourselves to your immaculate heart.
Direct our abilities, our efforts, to the furthering of God's kingdom on earth.
May we do our part to make ourselves and the Americas more worthy of the love you show for us.
Looking on your image, may we grow in the likeness of your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

As I kneel before Thee on the Cross, * most loving Savior of my soul,* my conscience tells me it is I * who have nailed thee to that Cross * with these hands of mine, * as often as I have fallen into mortal sin, * wearying thee with my monstrous ingratitude.

TO THE WOUND OF THE SACRED SIDE
Holy Wound * in the side of my Jesus, * I adore thee! * I compassionate thee, * O my Jesus, * for the cruel insult thou didst suffer. * I thank thee, * O my Jesus, * for the love which suffered thy side and heart to be pierced, * that the last drops of blood and water might issue forth, * making my redemption to abound. * I offer to the Eternal Father this outrage, * and the love of thy most sacred humanity, * that my soul * may enter once for all into that most loving heart, * eager and ready to receive the greatest sinners, * and from it may never more depart. Sweet Heart of my Jesus. * grant that I may ever love thee * more and more.
THE APOSTLES CREED
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son Our Lord, who was born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontios Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into Hell and on the third day, He arose from the dead and ascended into Heaven, where He sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen, mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. And, in this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet virgin Mary.

O God, whos only begotten Son has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life Grant we beseech thee that while meditating upon these mysteries of the most holy rosary of the blessed virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
Saint Michael, archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the malice and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou o prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who roam through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen
Remember, O gracious virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, we fly unto thee, o virgin of virgins, our mother. To thee do we come, before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer us. Amen.

O Father in Heaven. You are the Creator of life.
Protect all expectant mothers and the babies they carry in their wombs. We pray that those who suffer from the evils of abortion will be open to your infinite mercy and love. We ask for the conversion of all who fail to respect the gift of human life. Heavenlly father, guide our actions to help restore in the hearts of all people the sanctity of human life. Amen.
Now let us pray an Our Father, a Hail Mary and a Gloria for the intentions of the Holy Father.
