Head of an Angel 1
The title of this painting comes from a painting by the British artist
Cecil Collins. It is one of a series of angel paintings that I
did while living in London - an examination of the roots of our Western
culture. We always think of angels as men, not young women. This is to
redress the balance a little.
Watercolour and ink on watercolour paper. 24in x 16in (approx).
