Silently, this bird watches out
among the paper bark leaves.
Watches out for the rest of the gang,
as they sweep in
playing at acrobatics
seeking sweet blossoms and hapless insects on the wing.
All around your garden
A honey-loving sweep of noisy birds,
dodging and chasing each other,
coughing 'Yak, Yakakak, Yaak',
then 'Tew-tew-tew-tew'.
What a noisy mob of mad birds!
