Updates and Lost Souls Card Change!
Posted by Sam Raine - 08.08.05 (7:16am)
The rosters have been updated fully now with the addition of 2 mangers on the singles rosters, The Enterprise on the tag team, and A3 on the Factions. However, on a more serious note The Lost Souls card has changed slightly as Josh Stevens will not be able to rp for the show. So the Continental #1 contender match has changed. It is still a four way match, but a lucky hopeful has changed. All rps up to this point will still count regardless whether it mentions' Stevens or the new opponent. So be sure to check that out.

Showdown Is Live!
Posted by Sam Raine - 08.01.05 (7:30am)
The Showdown Results have been posted! I want to say I am sorry for the lateness of them...I sort of fell asleep while trying to finish up my share since my family wouldn't leave me alone during the day while I was trying to do them. Any ways They are up and if you have any problems with the results...direct yourself to me whether it is through IM, Email, or PM, but DONT post it on the board. I have proof read/editted the entire show and I feel everyone was done justice in them and also don't go to Deacon about the show, because his computer went down on him again and he wasn't able to proof read/edit/or write for the show this week. Next week's card is also posted.

Roster Updates
Posted by Sam Raine - 07.30.05 (11:22pm)
The roster has been updated once again with new additions to the roster with Astrid Winters, Timothy M. Russo, Ryan Singer, Randal Palin, and Tiffany Phoenix.

Showdown Info
Posted by Deacon Riggs - 07.29.05 (11:22pm)
Just so everyone's aware, the deadline for Sunday Night Showdown is gonna be on Saturday instead of Friday. It'll probably just be on Saturday's from now on, since my work schedule has changed. Anyways, that's all I've got for ya. Good luck everyone!

Showdown Locked and Loaded!
Posted by Deacon Riggs - 07.24.05 (10:21pm)
Alright, Sunday Night Showdown has been posted... almost in it's entirity. We're still awaiting the X Championship Match between Simon Sensation and Deathstroke. Appearantly, the guy who was supposed to right it got called into work. Oh well, we all know shit happens. As soon as the match is submitted it will be posted. This week's card is up.

Some of you may notice the Lethal Lottery wasn't on the results. That's because due to time restraints the draft was held off-air. Click here for full draft coverage.

Showdown Card POSTED!
Posted by Sam Raine - 07.19.05 (3:23am)
The Showdown card is finally posted! I am sorry for it being late I thought Deacon would have put it up by now. Since by the time I went to bed Sunday I didn't wake up till I had to go to work today and I just now got home. Because of the lateness of the card the deadline will be on Saturday. Also there was a miss up in the results other than the length of the Randall/Sensation match and that was I wrote a part of a storyline early. So for the record Josh Stevens isn't suspended until after the show this week. That is why is on the card. However the unknown man that made an appearance at the end of the show...that was still ment to happen. So again for the record Josh Stevens isn't suspended and the mystery man still attacked Williams and Jones at the end show. I just wanted to make that clear.

Showdown Is Live!
Posted by Sam Raine - 07.17.05 (5:23pm)
The Showdown Results have been posted earlier than what they are normally. Why? Because I thought it would be a kick ass way to reward everyone for their patience and hard work for Dead On Arrival. Needlessly saying...thanks go out to Cody Carson and Justin for helping with the results as it goes with out saying that we killed ourselves to get them up as early as possible. Next weeks card will be posted later. I am off to bed now after having no sleep for nearly 24 hours now.

Not All Who Wander Are Lost

The AWA will barrow from the ever generous hand of Hunter Davis and the XWL once again to bring Lost Souls to a new generation of wrestling fans. The show is scheduled for August 14th. It is rumored that Hunter Davis of the XWL will be in attendence. Also, word has it the match has been signed at the demand of Deacon Riggs. Zeek Williams versus Mike Young: II.

Handicap Match for the Main Event
Posted by Sam Raine - 07.09.05 (4:17am)
At the request of Josh Stevens the main event for next week's show will now be a handicap match. So good luck gentlemen and put on a show that will knock them dead.

Showdown for July 17th
Posted by Sam Raine - 07.08.05 (2:37am)
The card for the next week show so for the 17th has been posted to give you all a little extra time to rp for it in return to being so patient for the results. However, there is one thing up until 11:55pm Sunday (this week) the card can change. Don't worry you will be let known if it does change. If you don't have a match and would like one or if you have one and can't rp for it...PLEASE speak up either to Deacon or myself. If your in a match where you don't show and your fired...if you can't rp it would be very wise to get in touch with one of us before 11:55pm Sunday, because at that time the card is final. No drastic changes will happen to it after that unless it is an emergency!

AWA Updates!
Posted by Sam Raine - 07.07.05 (5:27pm)
Guys and Gals I just want to thank you once again for putting up a great effort for DOA and an even bigger thanks for being as patient as you were with the results. It just goes to show you that even though we are smaller than most feds that we have a close knit trust with another when it comes to things like this. Any ways back to business at hand in the time that I have had the passwords to the site I have made the best of it. There have been numerous updates to the site as taken list, bios, champions, title history, and even added some new roster pics. So take a look around and if you find anything wrong, misplaced, or don't like your new pic...just leave me a message on the boards and I will get to later when I get home from work. In final news I am sure you all are aware of this, but The AWA proudly welcomes "The Myth" Josh Stevens!

THE COMP WARS
Posted by Deacon Riggs - 07.07.05 (12:14pm)
First and foremost I want to offer my deepest sympathies to each and everyone involved in the AWA! Results were late and that is entirely my fault. I take full responsibility. My computer crashed and I lost the matches I was to write along with some segments. I thought it was working and I would be able to have them up by Monday night, but that wasn't the case. I couldn't even start it up to email or IM the AWA's General Manager so that she could get results up for you guys. However I would like to thank Sam Raine for covering and saving my pathetic ass. Anyways, the next Showdown will be a week from this Sunday (obviously) and from here on out things will run more smoothly as Sam Raine now has the passwords to the site and everything. Thank you all for your patients and understanding. You're a terrific bunch and I'm glad to be in the AWA with you!

SHOWDOWN AND PAY PER VIEW
Posted by Deacon Riggs - 06.13.05 (12:59am)
Sunday Night Showdown has been posted. I'm still not able to use my computer and I'm still stealing time where I can. Hopefully my computer will up and running again by tomorrow. Anyway, results are simmed because of the computer problem, but they're up. Next Sunday we will host Sunday Night Showdown and the following week will be the pay per view event, Dead On Arrival. SO... lets get in tip-top shape and make the pay per view great! One match is already signed!

SUNDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN
Posted by Deacon Riggs - 06.12.05 (11:59pm)
Sunday Night Showdown posted! I am actually quite proud of myself. After working a twelve hour day and having a twelve hour day coming up tomorrow I got to it and got 'er done! So yeah, results are and they're pretty sweet if I do say so myself. Looks like we've got some good stuff developing so keep it up guys. Also, next week's card should be up soon.

FRESH MEAT
Posted by Deacon Riggs - 06.10.05 (11:10pm)
The AWA Front Office would officially like to welcome the three newest additions to the AWA roster: Troy Davidson, The Golden Boy, and Axel "2 Xtreme". Each newcomer offers his own benefits to our humble promotion. I expect very good things from each of these guys. So you better not let me down! Anyways, you guys can expect to be placed in matches immediately to replace some of the... MIA talent in the AWA!

SHOWDOWN POSTED!
Posted by Deacon Riggs - 06.05.05 (11:58pm)
Ha! 11:58 bitches! That's still Sunday in my book. OK, you guys ready for the excuses? My sister graduated from high school on Friday. So Friday afternoon I had to entertain all of our relatives (mostly cousins) cause I'm nice like that. Saturday she had this HUGE BBQ with family and friends and EVERYONE in the city of Portland. So I was outside on the ol' grill making up hamburgers for everyone. Then Sunday I had to work late because we're moving stores... which sucks ass. Anyways, results are up, they're simmed, but they're up. Next week's card is up as well.

PROBOARDS ARE SELF RIGHTEOUS BASTARDS!
Posted by Deacon Riggs - 06.04.05 (12:30pm)
OK, so as some of you may've noticed that our boards are currently down because Proboards decided they wanted to be pricks and update the boards when we need them most. So, what this means is, you guys will not be able to roleplay before the deadline. So I guess Proboards set the deadline for us. Anyways, hopefully Proboards will finish updating our server by the end of today or early tomorrow. Results should be up tomorrow, unless Proboards completely screws me and I can't get in to read over and judge the roleplays.

CIVIL WARFARE!
Posted by Deacon Riggs - 05.30.05 (10:07pm)
OK, so here's the problem... I'm missing two matches from Civil Warfare results because the people who were supposed to send those matches have appearantly flaked on me! So, I am posting Civil Warfare now before results get any later. So I apologize to those who's matches aren't written and I promise they will be written within the next day or so and added to results. Thanks guys and lets get ready to this week's Showdown.

SUNDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN POSTED!
Posted by Deacon Riggs - 05.22.05 (11:04pm)
I know, I know, results are late. But hey! They're up and they're fully written. And technically it's still Sunday (cuz it's only eleven o'clock). So yeah, get off my back! Anyways, next week is Civil Warfare, our flagship pay per view so I expect some big things from all of you! Also I would like to welcome Adonis and Brent Randall, the two newcomers to the AWa. I want everyone to make them feel welcomed because quite frankly... they are! So lets have a great turn out and make Civil Warfare I awesome!

FANS TO DECIDE WORLD TITLE MATCH!
Posted by Tyler Scoops - 05.21.05 (3:34pm)
Director of Authority, Deacon Riggs has decided the only way to make the main event at Civil Warfare more exciting for the fans was to involve the fans. We all know the AWA held a tournament to crown the new World Champion (semi-finals this Sunday) and the finals will be held at Civil Warfare. Well DOA, Deacon Riggs has decided the fans will get a chance to vote for which type of match up they would like to see. Whoever makes it to the finals will not know which match they will be competing in until they make their way to the ring. Talk about fan interaction! Civil Warfare will be a night to remember!
