After three hours at the computer (and now two attempts at saving this entry), I've finally finished my new colors.  It's a little bit easier on the eyes than the red and black, I think.  It's definitely going to stay this way...I'm not about to change everything again!  Anyway, I like it this way.  The only thing I haven't changed that I'm still planning on changing is the friends profiles.  Most of them are now incorrect and I haven't gotten around to changing all the colors in them yet.  Expect them to look very similar to this.

Speaking of "this," I'm taking an unspoken word of advice from Laurie and Lauren and changing my policy on this journal entry thing.  Gone are the days of this being a detailed replica of my day; it's now more of an emotional refuge and venting area.  It was this before, but now it's that exclusively.  Problems have arisen from how I act when I remember only select portions of the day and then write down a completely one-sided story about how things "really are."  Whatever.

First entry of the new year/decade/century/millenium! Hurray!  Boring!  Actually New Years was really, really cool.  The whole Y2K think was a letdown, however.  But I broke into it in what so far is a very good way.  Let's hope it stays like that!
