This is what my life revolves around.  Ask anyone who knows me.  I live mountain bikes.  Eat mountain bikes.  Sleep mountain bikes. Breathe mountain bikes.  It's possibly the coolest sport on earth that doesn't involve a throttle.  Todd Lyons probably put it best: "There's so many aspects to riding.  You can hang out at the trailhead with a couple of your buddies, or you can go to a contest with total exposure.  Cameras and everything.  It rules." I couldn't put it better myself.  But me and mountain biking?  There's a lot of breakdowns to it.
I guess I'm primarily a "freerider."  I own two bikes, a freeride DBR and a DH-racing Titus.  I race downhill.  I love to jump and race dual slalom.  I don't love climbing but it's necessary.  I don't mind throwing my bike in the back

of a truck and doing some sick drops with my friends.  I suck at trials but want to get better.  Pretty much it comes down to me being a fairly well-rounded rider with downhill tendencies.
As far as riding itself goes, I know that my infatuation with the sport of mountain biking has caused some problems.  For example, even though I used to ride my bike to my girlfriend's house once or twice a week (about an hour's ride each way) just to see her, the countless OTHER hours I spent riding and watching videos took it's toll on our relationship.  That's one thing I like.  Vids rule.  Motocross videos are cool and more fun to watch, but MTB flix are getting up there.  Chainsmoke is definitely the all-time best, but my current fave is Outer Extremities for all-mountain riding, Headliners for racing.  I am looking forward to Down, the new Thor Wixom film due out this winter.  A friend of mine, Kristopher Baughman

is one of the big stars in the flick so I'm looking forward to mooching off him throughout his rise to stardom.
Here's some stuff you might care about:  My favorite downhill man is definitely Shaun Palmer.  Even though he's a cocky punk, he's still competitive in four other sports, something most mountain bikers could only dream about.  My favorite DH girl is Missy cuz she's fast but also very cool and more than willing to help out Jr Riders like my self.  I can do no-footers.
I race Jr Expert men 15-18 at a National Level, only there's no Jr. Pro class so I race against 17 and 18-year-old pros.
I placed 6th of 17 at the Deer Valley Dual Slalom on 7/22/99.
My greatest inspiration to win is Shaums March.  He broke his neck, flatted, but ran his bike through a World Cup before collapsing at the finish line.
