Dave Sabour

The first time I met Dave, I hated him.  But that has a funny story behind it.

I went up to my ward to play basketball with some of my friends.  Dave was up there, and I'd never met him before.  Somebody told me he was kind of a prick, so I figured he must be as such.  We played a little ball, and I decided that he was, indeed, a loser.  He was cocky, short, and angry.  I didn't understand why he needed to be so pissed all the game.  We were just playing, right?

So after that night I really didn't see much of mister Sabour until fall of 1999.  Then, I think because he was friends with Vickers, I was up at his house and we talked a little bit and he was a really cool guy.  We actually started hanging out quite a bit (with other people, not exclusively or anything of that homo flavor) and became decent friends.

Dave's one of the more intriguing people I've met.  He's like really crude and funny and teenager-ish some of the time, but at other times he's really serious and kind of pissed.  It's fun hanging out with him because I feel like he and I are on a lot of the same pages; neither of us are into drugs, I don't think he's too into drunkenness, he knows when stuff isn't funny at all, and he knows when it's time to get serious about stuff.   He's definitly one of the tightest kids in the class of 2000.
