Kuala Lumpur sent 2 mix team in this regatta. We didn't win any but our team makes the boys team uncomfortable in all games. |
1st National Canoe Polo Championship - Kangar, Perlis - 1997.
This is the first true Kuala Lumpur canoe polo team compete in the canoe polo games. KL finished third beating Johor 3-1, while Penang get the trophy beating Perlis 3-2 in the final. Penang is the most experience team in Malaysia. |
Junior & Open National Canoe Polo Championship - 1998 (PRE-SUKMA).
In this championship there's 2 category:-- Junior Category (under 18)
- Open Category.
In junior category KL finished third behind Perlis and Penang the Champs.
While in National Open category KL finished second after lose to Johor at the sudden death match after draw 3-3 in the final. KL team not very lucky at that time because it was our game that day. |

Datuk Sri Shahidan Kassim Trophy Canoe Polo Championship - 1998.
KL again finished third in this championship behind Terengganu and Perlis. Actually it only Perlis team that prepare for this game while the other just come to makes things happen. |
REGATTA KENYIR 2000
After a long absent of KL team we're back with a new team. This is the first time the new team play in the championship. Still we can manage event we're new team KL manage to finished fourth behind Terengganu, Johor And Perlis. It's a good sign for a new team.

KARNIVAL KENU PUTRAJAYA 2000
As I say before, KL was the mark team this time. We finished second after loses to Perlis 5-2. We makes a great shock to the No.1 team in Malaysia after scored 2-0 in the first 5 minutes. But my team boy's are young and to eager to win and it's only experience thats makes we lost to Perlis. After the match KL team are the team to be watch in the next championships. And first time a team from National University Of Singapore are among the team participate.

PESTA AIR PERLIS - 27 - 28 APRIL 2001
After 1 year absent of the defending champion Penang are back in bussiness. Once agains KL finished third behind Penang and Perlis. Seem like no.3 is a sinonim to KL team. Penang makes a great come back, only luck not on their site while losing to Perlis in the sudden death in final. But it's really makes the canoe polo championship more lifely than before. Good work to Sebastian Toh. My absent there makes a bit changes in my team......

REGATTA KENYIR - 31 AUG - 02 SEPT. 2001
This time we're prepared. It's a big event here but lack of participant there's only 8 team. KL, Johor, Terengganu, Perlis, Perlis Junior, NUS A, NUS B & UPSI.
In the group match, KL manage to win 2 game and draw 1 game and thats make KL the group leader. In the semi KL meet NUS B and we win ... - ... So once again we in the final with Perlis. In the first half we been thrashed 3-0, as the team are not played in the games. In the second half we manage to makes a come back which we score 2 goals.. as we try to make a draw... suddenly is the final whistle.. it's feel like we only played for 5 minute... and again Perlis is the Champ. In the third palces is NUS B and fourth is NUS A.

REGATTA KUALA LUMPUR (R'KUL) - 06 & 07 OCT. 2001At last after 3 years REGATTA KUALA LUMPUR is back. The last time KL organise a championship is on 1998. This time there's only 7 team, which KL sent 2 team. KL A team has been thrashed out after lose 2 games to Terengganu and Perlis, while third match with Jeram Besu team are cancelled as the team walk away. Meanwhile KL B team lose in both their match to Penang & Johor. It's their first appearance. Hope it'll be a good experiance to them. In the final once again the two rival meets. Penang and Perlis this time both team played a safely game. At last it still Perlis are champs, eventough Penang has controlled almost 80% of the match. And in the third places is Johor followed by Terengganu.
