Well, it’s Ébola speaking. The band has nearly always had really important moments and people have always supported us. One of the moments to I’d emphasize on would be our first concert, in the island of La Palma (the Canary Isles – Spain) in a rock festival, in front of 3000 people. It was at our beginning. We had just named ourselves Cryfemal and people were very impressed with our look. Another moment I’d emphasize would be later when we moved to Madrid with the name of Cryfemal when I recorded «Listen… Death is coming!!», I started to send promos, about 200 copies and I saw how people were very interested in the band and wanted to know it. Immediately Blasphemy Recs edited us and later War prods. That work was the one that opened the doors for us. Now we’re two, Necro Keyboards and voice and me guitar and voice. We’re testing two friends of us in bass and drums, so we’re not sure yet.

«With the help of the devil» contains eleven tracks, totally sang in Spanish, very brutal and technical, and we consider this work as the best which Cryfemal have made. It was recorded in a small studio that I have at home named Profane Studio. After recording it, we mastered it in another studio from Madrid. The production is very good for us, we have been surprised, and it isn’t noisy. I am 26 years old and I have been playing since I was 13, so I have enough experience to be able to record a work in good conditions. About the lack of money, we’re not rich, but we can pay a normal studio.

Of course I am satisfied with the result, I like very much what we have recorded and I wouldn’t change anything. We used the drum machine ‘cause in Madrid there is nobody who can play as fast as we want. It’s just after recording it when we met someone who can do it, so in the new material we’ll use a real drummer to record it and for the concerts. Anyway we’re very satisfied with the result of our war machine.

Of course, we’re the fastest band in Spanish BM. We’re a mixture of Molested (all), Blasphemy (all), Old Funeral (older ones),Abruptum (De profundis..),Mysticum (all),Sadistik Exekution (all),Morbid (December Moon demo), Beherit (all),Abigor (Opus 4) and much more.

Every work is brutal and full of darkness and energy. The only difference among them is that as time passes by we are more experienced with our instruments and we’re more professionals. 

An idea of the most twisted death is Cryfemal’s inspiration. Cemeteries, tombs, bones, worms… it is something that attracts us a lot. Funerals where people cry. That is the idea, I don’t know how to explain it better.

Of course, this year we have planned to play in several places from Spain; Barcelona, Valencia and maybe in France and Portugal. We have many plans and many things to do. Well it is a true load of reliable fast and technical BM. With pigs heads, points, fire and corpse paint. You know… Black metal.

8.ARE YOU SATISFIED BY THE FEEDBACK YOU GOT THIS FAR? IS THERE A COMMON STATEMENT YOU READ IN ALMOST ALL THE REVIEWS YOU RECEIVE?

Satisfied no, I am not and I suppose that I will never be. The reviews have been very good or very hard. I think that the media does not have good critics. They don’t listen to the material 100%. In common, they tell us that we create a really extreme and brutal BM.

Yeah!!! Very good question, I like it. Hmm, it is difficult… fuck… an emotion would be «to feel the glory» and if it would be a painting it would show, mmm… «a battle with victory». 

The Black metal is what it is, it can’t be changed or moderated, or it wouldn’t be BM. It is against Christianity and in favour of Satan and death. It isn’t involved, BM was created this way and it will always be so. It can’t be changed, it is perfect.

Well. If you ask that from the beginning there would be no music I would have been dedicated to oppose the others anyway, be infinitely opposite to everybody else in another aspect. If you ask me that suddenly music wouldn’t exist I would commit suicide making my body explode in the Vatican or something like that.

Brutal and cruel Black metal, very fast, technical and mad. With slowly and “agony” passages. Much emotive energy.

Death has a sound, and it is very near to what Cryfemal do. You will be "fucked up" from anger in a cemetery. Don’t run, you can’t escape. Very soon…
