1. INTODUCE THE BAND TO THE FANS
Crystal Eyes was born to play Heavy
Metal in 1992. We've released 2
full length cds 4 official demotapes
and made hundreds of gigs including
opening acts to bands like Blind
Guardian, Yngwie Malmsteen, Candlemass
etc. We're four crazy Metal Heads
who love Heavy Metal and we'll play
it until we die.

WHICH IS YOUR SOURCE OF INSPIRATION?
There's no concept. Half of the lyrics
where written by me and the
other half by my good friend Andreas
Gotesson. We've just written in the
way we like best and this is usually
fantasy lyrics. My inspiration has
comed from the following bands:

Helloween, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest,
Black Sabbath, Accept, Dio,
Queensryche, Manowar, Heavens Gate,
Crimson Glory, Savatage, Running Wild,

Pretty Maids, Loudness, Gary Moore, White
Lion, TNT, Whitesnake, Deep Purple,

Heavy Metal with good melodies.
I'm very proud of World Of Black
And Silver. Before recording it we had
more than 30 songs to choose between
and for me it's a best of album
from songs between 1995-1998. There
are more fast songs on WOBAS but
every song is still very uniqe.
I think the songs on WOBAS are as good as
on ISTM. The biggest differens
is that the production is much better on
ISTM. I absolutely recommand every
one who like ISTM to buy WOBAS.

are asholes and they don't want
to do any promotion. The only way

5. WHY DID YOU CHANGE YOUR RECORD LABEL?

I can't tell you all the problems because
then I have to write a book
but I can tell you this. They havn't
payed the money I should have as a
songwriter (and this is VERY much
money), they havn't payed Kristian
Wahlin for the cover to ISTM, They
have released our records with bonus
songs that we never would agree
with (songs recorded on a
4-channel-portable-studio with
a drum-machine from a very bad tape) in some
countries, he tells me that my
songs are shit and no one wants to hear Crystal
Eyes but his going to release the
records because he'll make money on
them, he's broken against more
then 15 things in the contract, he keeps
sending his e-mails just to let
us know that we're stupid etc..I can go
on forever but I'm sure you've
got the picture.

I have never thought about this but
yes it would be very interesting. I

Judas Priest is me all time favourite

The promotion depends on which record
company we're going to release
the new Cd on. Yes we'll play live
and we have all ready played some new
songs and they became favourites
in the audience directly.
