Ok! It's hard for me
to fit any words in this prologue... When I sent the questions for this
interview with Delirious Wisher, everything was fine and about a week after
I received the answered interview with a note that the band existed no
more. They have disbanded... So, I suppose there isn't much to say rather
than read and learn about them, cause the truth is you never know what
may happen in the future...
1.FIRST OF ALL, GIVE US A SHORT BAND BIO AND
PRESENT
THE BAND AND YOURSELVES TO THE READERS.

Me (Tony3586), Panos and Kevis started the band,after
several months and one live show, we realized that something was missing
from our sound, so I asked my old friend and bandmate John to join and
we got better and stronger, so we kept going with this line up.
2.YOU RELEASED A 2 SONG PROMO CD. COULD YOU PLEASE
GIVE US SOME INFO ABOUT IT? DO YOU HAVE ANY
NEW SONGS READY? WHEN SHOULD WE EXPECT A NEW RELEASE FROM YOU? HOW WILL
IT SOUND?

Yeah.That promo was a big disaster because we
weren't ready to record, plus we did it very fast and messy. It wasn't
good but the funny thing was that we sold more T-shirts than cds, so me
and Panos had that joke about quiting the band and starting a clothing
label. Also we had another release which was better,we had a live cdrom
video with 4 live songs from different shows. That I think was good.
3.WHICH IS, ACCORDING TO YOU, THE BEST AND WHICH
THE
WORST PART IN YOUR MUSIC? TOWARDS WHICH FIELD
DO YOU THINK YOU SHOULD EVOLVE IN THE FUTURE AND ARE THERE ANY ELEMENTS
YOU'D LIKE TO PUT ASIDE ON YOUR NEXT DEMO?

I think I need to work on my vocals but the best
thing is our melodies.
4.ARE YOU SATISFIED BY THE FEEDBACK YOU GOT THIS

FROM FANS AND ZINES? IS THERE A COMMON STATEMENT
YOU GET TO READ IN ALMOST ALL THE REVIEWS? WHICH WAS THE WORST PHRASE,
ACCORDING TO YOU, IN A REVIEW AND WHICH WAS THE BEST AND MOST FLATTERING?

We had a small fanbase (around 20 people) that
came to all our shows and supported us in any possible way which is cool
and hard to find in Greece if you are an unsigned band. So, I think Delirious
Whisper weren't only 4 school kids having fun but 20 kids having fun and
good times.
5.YOU SAY THAT YOU BELONG IN THE NEW ROCK SCENE
BEARING INFLUENCES FROM PUNK, EMO, INDIE AND
ALTERNATIVE. SO, WHICH BANDS CAN BE FOUND
AMONG YOUR INFLUENCES? WHICH ARTISTS HELPED YOU REALIZE THIS IS THE MUSIC
THAT SUITS YOU THE BEST?

There are way too many because of the different
influences of each member but I think that the main influences were: Dashboard
Confessional, The Ataris, Last Days Of April, Blink182, Sum41, Zebrahead,
The Jealous Sound, Appleseed Cast e.t.c......
6.TO WHERE ARE YOUR LYRICS REFERRING TO? WHAT
KIND OF TOPICS INTRIGUE YOU TO TALK ABOUT?

We try to have different topics in every song
we mostly write about: Having a good time, memories, hard luck, loneliness
and about possible problems of our age (16-18).
7.HAVE YOU SENT THE DEMO TO ANY LABELS? WHAT KIND
OF REACTIONS DID YOU RECEIVE? ARE YOU ABOUT TO SIGN A DEAL OR ARE YOU STILL
IN THE SEARCH?
8.DO YOU HAVE ANY PLANS FOR LIVE APPEARANCES OR
PERHAPS A TOUR? WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THE FUTURE?

It's funny you ask that because we were planning
during winter that this summer we would all get in a van and do a mini
tour but we couldn't find places to play. For example Kevis and Panos went
to Patra (where Kevis brother lives) to arrange a show and the clubs there
said that they are going to be closed during summer (lie). I think they
said that that because they weren't sure if people were going to come to
the shows. I had a show arranged at Pyrgos at my uncles club and we would
arrange to play at a summer camp but we lost our mood after that rejection.
I am to arrange a mini tour this Christmas with my new band but it's nothing
for sure.
9.WHICH ARE THE AIMS YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE WITH
DELIRIOUS WHISPER? WHICH IS YOUR WILDEST DREAM?

We just wanted to have a good time and that's
what we did. Now that it's over I have many good memories and it's a great
era for me. Now my dream is to fully form a band I have just started
with my friend and to have another bunch of good times and I want to achieve
a musical career. Not becoming a rockstar (which is everyones wildest dream
and mine) but be something like Raining Pleasure, you know, play in front
of bigger audiences, have some airplay at radio and tv music stations and
stuff.
10.IF TIME TRAVEL WAS POSSIBLE, WHICH PERIOD WOULD
YOU LIKE TO VISIT AND WHY?

I would like to visit the year 1992 at San Diego
and become the fourth member of Blink 182.
11.IF YOU HAD THE CHANCE TO INVITE AN IMPORTANT
AND
FAMOUS MUSICIAN TO PARTICIPATE IN YOUR DEMO
WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE AND WHY?

Please let me choose three...1)I would choose
Ali from Zebrahead to sing in one of my songs because he is the only person
that can fit rhymes in punk rock music and sound great. 2)I would choose
Tom from Blink 182 because when I was younger I used to jump on my bed
and pretend that I was playing live in front of people and I would sing
along his songs holding a tennis racket that I pretented to be a guitar.
3)I would choose Chris Carraba from Dashboard Confessional because he writes
great lyrics and uses words that I don't know.
12.LET'S SUPPOSE THAT SUDDENLY ONE DAY ELECTRICITY
CEASED TO EXIST... WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD
HAPPEN TO MUSIC AND ESPECIALLY ROCK AND ITS MORE EXTREME
BRANCHES? COULD YOU REPRODUCE YOUR MUSIC IN
AN
ACOUSTIC WAY?

Bands with acoustic songs like us would conquer
the world of music and we would kick Britney's and Backstreet Boy's asses
but we will not be able to record new cds and stuff. Shit,thats pretty
scary! Seriously, the world of music would change but we wouldn't have
a problem cause we have some acoustic songs.
13.IF YOUR MUSIC WERE AN EMOTION, WHAT WOULD IT
BE? IF IT WERE A PAINTING, WHAT WOULD IT SHOW?

If it was an emotion, it would be happiness and
the painting in my opinion would show an empty street at the desert at
night and a ufo in the very backround and the night sky with many many
stars.
14.WHICH WORDS DO YOU THINK CAN DESCRIBE YOUR
MUSIC AND THE BAND IN GENERAL IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY?

times.There is a small possibility that Kevis and Panos will continue playing
as DW but it's not for sure. John is leaving for England and I have already
