I think that all metalheads
are aware of Sabina Classen. One of the most important women in the heavy
metal scene that has cast her seal on this music. Her crazy and wild attitude
are responsible why more and more women involve in the extreme sound. Moreover,
Sabina has a voice that many men would be jealous of...
1.SO, WHICH ARE ACCORDING TO YOU
THE MOST IMPORTANT MOMENTS OF YOUR CAREER UP TO DATE?

Sabina: Oh, it`s hard to say, `cause
I had so many important moments! It was a great moment to play Dynamo Open
Air in 1989, one of the biggest European festivals in that time. Also a
great moment was for me, to come back with the band after several years
in 2001 and playing huge festivals like Wacken Open Air and With Full Force
Open Air, also a co-headlining show in south Korea.
2.THERE SEEMS TO BE A GENERAL ASCENSION
OF GERMAN THRASH METAL BANDS AFTER THE RELEASE OF GREAT ALBUMS FROM BANDS
LIKE KREATOR (ESPECIALLY), SODOM AND DESTRUCTION. WHERE DO HOLY MOSES STAND?
DOES THIS RAISE THE STANDARDS HIGHER FOR YOU?

Sabina: Oh well, we are a part of this
scene and we are in the middle of them all - somewhere. We are doing our
best, like we always did and in my heart I was always searching for the
highest standard I can give to my fans.
3.HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THIS NAME?
IS THIS PHRASE USED IN ORDER TO SURPRISE THE METALLERS? DOES IT HAVE A
SPECIAL MEANING/SYMBOLISM?

Sabina: I don`t know! `cause I came
in the band in the end of 1981 and the band`s name was already existing,
so I couldn`t change it, hahahahahahaha!
4.A WHILE AGO YOU RELEASED AN ALBUM.
COULD YOU TELL US A FEW THINGS ABOUT IT AND POINT OUT THE DIFFERENCES AND
SIMILARITIES WITH YOUR PREVIOUS WORK?

Sabina: It is always real hard to compare
the works we are doing. I think the new stuff is still in the feeling of
our old albums, real hard, aggressive, technical and with a lot of power,
and it goes strictly in your stomach. And the most important fact is, that
is still sounds 100% HOLY MOSES.
5.YOUR LAST 2 ALBUMS HAD A BIT OF ANGER
AND RHYME IN THEIR TITLES : MASTER OF DISASTER, DISORDER OF THE ORDER.
WILL THIS BE CONTINUED? WAS IT DONE ON PURPOSE?

Sabina: Hahahaha, that`s cool, I didn`t
checked this by myself! No, it was not done on purpose! But when I think
about it, it has a lot to do with me, `cause I like kind of rhyme like
this. It has something to do with order and system. Things have to fit
together in my life. But it is really strange, because it was not done
on purpose...!
6.HOW DO METALLERS REACT WHEN THEY
FIND OUT THAT THE VOCALS ARE DONE BY A WOMAN AND NOT A MAN?

Sabina: Yes, we have funny stories
around it. Most of the people couldn`t believe that I am a woman and live
the tried to see if I have titts under my shirt or not, hahahahahahaha!
7.WILL THE COMIC THAT GOES ALONG WITH
THE PREVIOUS ALBUM CONTINUE? COULD YOU TELL US THE CONTINUATION OF THE
STORY?

Sabina: The story will come out in
a real comic book in a few weeks and will continue in the comic book. I
don`t know if it will continue in a new album, `cause I always like to
do new things on a new album. I don`t know yet. The story is about political
people who try to give us a story how we have to live...but they are ratts,
and they turn into ratts again, they are not from this earth....it`s really
to long to describe totally...but I will perhaps put in the story on our
website to explain better in a few weeks....
8.WHICH ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THE FUTURE?
HAVE YOU GOT ANY NEW SONGS READY? DO YOU HAVE AN IDEA WHEN YOU'LL RELEASE
YOUR NEXT ALBUM?

Sabina: We are working on the songs
right now. We are playing on festivals and we are preparing for the studio
time. We hope that we can book the studio date around November and December...but
we don`t wanna hurry, `cause we like to write the new stuff realy again
from our hearts and that needs time! So we hope that we can release the
new album in 2004, May/June/July.
9.WHERE ARE YOUR LYRICS REFERRING TO?
WHAT ISNPIRES YOU IN WRITING LYRICS AND WHAT CAN TAKE AWAY THE INSPIRATION
FROM YOU?

Sabina: I take my inspiration from
my daily life. On the last album I was really inspired by the attacks on
the world trade center and the politics around....`cause I couldn`t believe
the reasons, the president Bush was telling us...! So I am interested into
politics, but not only! In my lyrics I try to put personal things into
it, too. I am full with feelings around my strange life I am living!
10.DO YOU HAVE ANY PLANS FOR TOURING
OR ATTENDING METAL FESTIVALS THIS SUMMER? DO YOU REMEMBER ANY FUNNY OR
WEIRD INCIDENTS OCCURRING TO YOU WHILST YOU WERE PERFORMING LIVE?

Sabina: Yes, we are right now playing
smaller festivals on which we are headlining, `cause we don`t like to forget
the basis of our fans. Incidents...yes our drummer was a few weeks ago
playing drums on a to small drumraiser and he was falling down......and
I was wondering, why no drums are coming......
11.IF YOUR MUSIC WERE AN EMOTION, WHAT
WOULD IT BE? IF IT WERE A PAINTING, WHAT WOULD IT SHOW?

Sabina: A Painting.....that would be
on one half black and white with straight lines and on the other half it
would be totaly coloured and with blizzards and flowers like on a LSD trip!

can see over the years that more and more women are involved and perhaps
I did a part of it, that it happens....!

Sabina: In all back times I would miss
my computer! And I don`t wanna go back...I am not such a historic lover.....I
think in the middle age I would be burned definitely as a witch.....!

Sabina: I think is enough for now,
`cause I have no to pack my stuff and drive with my car to Wacken Open
Air. It`s only 1 hour from my home here in Hamburg and it started up since
a few minutes and have to go...best wishes to Greece!
