JACKHAMMER
It seems that Tony "Mad"
from WHITE SKULL have the touch of Midas, cause in every band that he participates
or helps the result turns to be more than simply good. JACKHAMMER are a
project of many known italian metal musicians and it seems that soon will
attract the interest of all the metallers. If you want to listen to some

1.FIRST OF ALL, GIVE US A SHORT

The band don't have a big bio. Jackhammer
was formed by Alberto and I.We are friends and we often play together Trash
Metal just for fun.So one day we have decided to form a band and to record
a demo with all the stuff we have written .So what was just an idea and
a fun time finished at the end by a real and concrete band ! Now we hope
our music could interest a label. the line-up is : Tony Mad (guitar) from
White Skull, Alberto Toniolo (guitar) from Raising Fear, Sandro Serravalle
(bass) from Garden Wall, Marco Sandro (voice) from Burning Doll and Alex
Mantiero (drum) from White Skull.
2. HOW DID YOU CHOOSE THE NAME JACKHAMMER
FOR THE BAND AND HOW IT IS CONNECTED TO YOUR MUSIC?

We were looking for a cool name and
we decided to use Jackhammer cause it's directly connected to our music.The
sound of a Jackhammer let think about the energy, the sound of our music.The
impact of a jackhammer has the same impact that of our music in your heads.
3.WHAT KIND OF LYRICS DO YOU LIKE TO
WRITE? FANTASY OR REAL LIFE ONES?

All the lyrics were written by Sandro
Serravalle and speak about his vision about life.The lyrics like the music
have to show your emotions, so we prefer to speak about real events than
Fantasy.
4.HAVE YOU SENT THE PROMO TO FANZINES,
MAGAZINES AND LABELS ? WHAT KIND OF FEEDBACK DID YOU RECEIVE? IS THE CD
ALSO AVAILABLE FOR THE FANS OR IS IT JUST FOR PROMOTIONAL REASONS?

We have sent the promo and the reactions
from Magazines and fanzines are very good. The demo is not available for
the fans cause, it's just a promotional demo in order to find a deal.
5.YOU DID THE PRODUCTION FOR ANOTHER
GREAT METAL BAND "ANTHENORA" WHICH IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT THEM? ARE YOU
WILLING TO DO THE PRODUCTION FOR OTHER BANDS AS WELL OR AREN'T YOU INTERESTED?

Anthenora is a really good band, I
love them. Their music is good and I have a good feeling when I work with
them. Actually they are recording in my studio their album and I'm again
the producer. To work in studio is my favorite job so I'm interested to
work with other bands.
6.ANY NEWS FROM THE WHITE SKULL CAMP?
DOES THE BAND STILL EXIST? HAVE YOU PREPARED ANY NEW MATERIAL? IF YES WHEN
DO YOU PLAN TO RELEASE IT? HAVE YOU ALSO LISTENED TO BROKEN ARROW? WHICH
IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT THEM?

Ok a lot of question in one, we will
proceed in order...... White Skull is alive! We have played this summer
in a lot of Festivals, we have composed new songs and now at the 17 th
October the band will enter the studio for recording the new album that
we will release in next march.....Long life to White Skull that is my band
!!!!!!!! When Nick started to write a song he let me listen it, so I can
say that I know very well the album and I like it a lot!!!
7.HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR MUSIC
AND WHICH BANDS AND MUSICIANS HAVE INFLUENCED YOUR STYLE AND ATTITUDE ?

Our music is Thrash Metal and we are
influenced by Anthrax, Testament and Annihilator that are my favourite
Trash bands. Scott Ian is one of my favorite guitarists.
8.IS JACKHAMMER A PROJECT FOR FUN OR
DO YOU WANT TO ACHIEVE SOMETHING MORE? WHICH ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THIS GROUP?

When all the bands start it's always
for fun! I believe in that band and we use to play together........We haven't
a lot of time but we really hope to realise something and to play some
shows.
9.HAS IT EVER HAPPEND TO YOU TO DREAM
OF A MELODY AND WHEN YOU WOKE UP SUUDDENLY TO HAVE FORGOTTEN IT? IF TES,
HOW DID YOU FEEL?

I use to sleep with my brain connected
with a recording system so it's impossible to forget!!
10.DO YOU HAVE ANY PLANS FOR LIVE SHOWS?

We haven't played live till now!! We
received some requests for next year but I don't know what will be the
reaction....
11.WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE THAT
DOESN'T KNOW YOU IN ORDER TO INTRIGUE HIS INTEREST? WHICH IS YOUR MOST
APPELING ELEMENT ACCORDING TO YOU?( Note : by this question I ment the
