REVOLTONS IS A BAND THAT WE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WATCH ALL OF ITS STEPS FROM THE START TILL THE RELEASE OF THEIR DEBUT ALBUM AND OUR IMPRESSIONS WERE MORE THAN POSSITIVE. IF YOU ASK OUR OPINION, THEN WE HAVE TO SAY THAT THIS BAND REALLY DESERVES THE CONTRACT WIT A GOOD LABEL THAT EARNED. IF YOU WANT TO LEARN EHY DESRVES IT, READ THE INTERVIEW...

1.FIRST OF ALL TELL US WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO REVOLTONS FROM THE RELEASE OF YOUR PREVIOUS DEMO TILL THE RELEASE OF "NIGHT VISIONS". WHICH ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT MOMENTS YOU CAN POINT OUT?
  • Everything happened! Me and Andrea knew that our songs were good, but we needed new members in the band because the previous ones were not involved with the band. We fired everyone! Then Pietro died cause of an heart attack. He was only 26! We played Hand of Magellano at his funeral! It has been very painful! Then we entered in the studio without a singer, in august 2002! We found Andro in October, and we completed Night Visions during march 2003! Then we had several offers and we decided to work with LIMB MUSIC!
2.YOU HAD SOME LINE UP CHANGES. DO YOU WANT TO TELL US ABOUT IT? WAS IT DIFFICULT TO FIND THE RIGHT SINGER
AND DRUMMER?
  • As i told before we fired everyone! We already knew Giorgio, so he entered in the band very soon! For the bassist Alessandro was the same! We had difficulties with the singer, but i think Andro is the right choice!
3.YOU HAVE JUST RELEASED YOUR DEBUT ALBUM, "NIGHT
VISIONS". GIVE US SOME INFORMATION ABOUT IT (WHERE WAS IT RECORDED, HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU, WHO WAS THE PRODUCER, ETC). WHAT ABOUT ITS MUSICAL DIRECTION? HAVE YOU CHANGED YOUR STYLE? ARE YOU SATISFIED BY THE FINAL RESULT OR IS THERE ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE TO CHANGE NOW?
  • The album was recorded in 2 studios. The instrumental part took place at New Sin studio! The vocals and the mixing process at Majestic studio, cause New Sin studio was busy in March!The producers are Luigi Stefanini, Marino De Angeli and the band itself! Yes, we are really satisfied with the result! I think that now ve are more heavy and direct than the first demo CD!
4.WHERE ARE YOUR LYRICS REFERRING TO? WHAT INSPIRES
YOU? DO YOU PREFER TO TALK ABOUT FANTASY OR REAL LIFE SITUATIONS? WHY DID YOU NAME THE ALBUM "NIGHT
VISIONS"? WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT TITLE?
  • Some songs were born by fantasy,literature and moovies! Others  songs speak of personal things. Night Visions was a song that Pietro wrote and never finished, because some lines of the lyrics were used for Hands Of Magellano! So this title is anoter tribute to him!
5.THE COVER ARTWORK IS BEAUTIFUL. WHICH IS THE
CONNECTION BETWEEN THE COVER ARTWORK AND THE TITLE? WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SHOW WITH THESE RUINS?
  • We asked Leo Hao (the artist) to imagine a "night vision", and this is what can you see from the artwork! We love it!
6.ARE YOU SATISFIED BY THE FEEDBACK YOU GOT THIS FAR?
IS THERE A COMMON STATEMENT YOU GET TO READ IN ALMOST ALL THE REVIEWS YOU GET?
  • Well! The most part of the reviews are very good! Only three web sites didn't like the album, but all the others used great words for us, and this makes us very proud of our work!
7.WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO SOMEONE THAT HAS NEVER HEARD OF YOU BEFORE TO INTIGUE HIM TO BUY YOUR CD? WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO "OFFER" TO THE METALLERS WITH THIS RELEASE?
  • Do you love prog.metal, power or classic metal? We are a good mix of this three great kinds of metal i think! So give us a chance and listen our album!
8.HOW DID THIS COOPERATION WITH LMP OCCUR? ARE YOU
SATISFIED WITH THEM? WITH WHAT CRITERIA WERE YOU
SEARCHIN FOR A RECORD LABEL?
  • We sended the album everywhere! LIMB was the label for us! It's too early to say if the cooperation will be good or not!
9.YOUR MUSIC IS DIFFICULT AND CONTAINS COMPLEX
STRUCTURES. HOW EASY IS IT FOR YOU TO REPRODUCE IT
LIVE? DO YOU BELIEVE THAT YOUR MUSIC IS SUITABLE TO BE PLAYED LIVE OR NOT? DO YOU HAVE ANY PLANS FOR SOME LIVE PERFORMANCES OR TOURING? W LINE UP? ARE YOU PLANNING ANY LIVE PERFORMANCES? DO YOU FEEL
COMFORTABLE ON STAGE? HOW IMPORTANT IS IT FOR
REVOLTONS TO PERFORM LIVE?
  • I don't think our music is so complicated! But these are only different opinions! The songs sounds very good live, sometimes better than in the album! Now we are planning some live dates here in Italy! We love to perform live! We love the energy of the music!
10.GIVE ME A WORD THAT COULD DESCRIBE YOUR MUSIC AND THE FEELINGS SOMEONE CAN GET BY LISTENING TO YOUR MUSIC, ACCORDING TO YOU.
  • We are a good mix between heavy guitars, heavy rhythm section and very good melodies! 
11.WHICH IS ACCORDING TO YOU YOUR BEST AND WHICH IS
YOUR WORST ELEMENT AS A BAND? WHAT DO YOU THINK PEOPLE FIND MOST INTRIGUIN IN YOUR MUSIC?
  • The best element is the band itself! The worst element is the fact that 2 members live a little far from us! For the second part of the question, i would say heavy music and good melodies again!
12.WHICH FAMOUS PERSONALITY WOULD YOU LIKE TO MEET AND WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO ASK HIM?
  • STEVE HARRIS! I would ask him:"where's the secret of your genius and of your coherence?"
13.WHAT TITLE/PHRASE DO YOU THINK COULD SUM UP ALL THE BAND'S EFFORTS TILL NOW?
  • Never give up!
