Let PQ is point P to directrix and PF = point to focus.
The PF/PQ = e and locus of P is ellpise.
Then we get R = D*e/(1-e*sin(A)) which is ellipse in polar form.
D*e = (a - f)*(1 + e) where a - f = CU - CF as in Figure 1.
