The year 1723 was memorable In the minds of many colonial americans. That year marks the culmination of technology's introduction of plumbing in the household. This engineering feat seems simple today, but for its time it was shear brilliance. The basic concept was to incorporate well water into the home by channeling the liquid through a series of pipes with a siphoning mechanism. The inventor of this colonial marvel was John Headly.
