Bhattacharya lines up the shot as Neil Mather and Justin Gorence rehearse
lines. Gary Thomsig supplies the effect of fire by waving strips of
cloth in front of several lights with gels on them. Having a real
fire on the set requires a fire Marshall. We shot the master shot
with a fire-- and yes we actually had a fire Marshall.
Note: We were out in the middle of no where and had no electricity, so we ran cords to a vacation home that was vacant-- we kind of borrowed some electricity. |

Mather goes over lines with Curtis "Booger" Armstrong as Thomas
Whelan looks on. Curtis gives one of the funniest performances in
the film. He plays a down-on-his-luck guy who has had a REALLY bad
day and looking to pass on the back luck to Neil.
