hesitant.  Every time you ride up to it, you stop and shout obsenities at your board and the stairs and everything around you.  It's because you're scared.  You're probably sitting there, thinking "talk about stating the obvious".  With fingerboarding, sure you can try it and not really be into it.  It's a certain level of intensity that is only present when you know you can get messed up.  In skateboarding, it's always all or nothing.  Sure you can let it flip out and lazily catch it with one foot.  But still, you're not really trying it.  You're not trying to stomp it and ride away.  Now you're wondering "where the hell is he going with this?".  Once you try it, and I mean really try it, you will unlock a door filled with possiblities.  So, next time you go out and skate, and you roll up to your favorite whatever stair in an attempt to kickflip it, do yourself a favor and say "fuck that" and just try it.
