Project Title: Wireless
Transport Layer Security (WTLS) Abstract: In this project,
sincere effort has been made to simulate the WTLS based on given set of
algorithms with the constraints kept in consideration. Firstly, the security
parameters are agreed between client and server who want to communicate
securely by means of the handshake protocol. Once the security parameters are
agreed a block cipher algorithm (DES) along with a MAC algorithm (SHA1) are
used to encrypt the data and also to maintain the integrity of the data. The
key refresh parameter helps to refresh the key after every finite number of
messages thereby restricting the number of messages less even in case of
successful cryptanalysis. For this implementation UDP sockets are used. Resources : Source Code |
