This is not a HTML lesson, but it should help to write ALT text.
A screen reader (eg: JAWS, Window-Eyes, ClaroRead) is a software program that can read what is displayed on a screen. This is very useful for people who are blind, visually impaired, or learning disabled. These amazing programs give the less-fortunate the opportunity to use the internet on their computers.
Screen readers can read the alt attribute, so take care to use a word (or short phrase) which best describes the image.
