Dr. C. D.
Michener (2000: p.643), while commenting
upon genus Parammobatodes made a note "minute species of a new genus
near Parammobatodes known from southwestern Asia to Sri Lanka are
cleptoparasites of Nomioides (Halictidae)" indicating D. Baker and J.
Rozen, personal communications, 1993, 1998.
Dr. J. G. Rozen, Jr. communicated me on
1 May 2003, "the new genus near Parammobatodes has not been named
yet despite that fact that we (Rozen & Baker) have known about it for a good
many years. I first collected it at Gharo near Karachi (Pakistan) in 1984
where I collected larvae and pupae of it from the nests of Nomiodes.
Donald Baker was going to describe the genus and probably, recently due to the
inspiration of M. S. Engel, Dr. Baker is doing some progress in this
direction".
Dr. C. D. Michener communicated me on 16
May 2003 "The genus has not been published yet. Baker and Engel should
get it out soon".
Until the new genus, with probably one
species, is described, this webpage will stand in this condition,
denoting that still one more genus of bees is yet to be described from our
destined territory.
