Here's some gliders I designed.
They are 6" wingspan and inspired by the whipperwhiz CLG.
I borrowed the fuselage and pylon from John O'Sulivan's
Whipperwhiz drawings. The shape looks similar also but
upon closer observation you can see the difference.

I studied a bunch of HLG plans and scaled them to 6"
then made some plans based on the average proportions of the HLGs.
The differences are a longer distance between the wing and stab,
and a wider wing chord. I originally had the fuselage a lot
shorter in front and the rudder on top of the stab but
changed it so that less ballast is needed and the rudder has
more effect on turning the plane if offset 1/16".

Here's a pic comparing the roundtipper prototype(in front)
to the whipperwhiz.

Here's a pic of the rooundtipper prototype on it's own.

My first square tipper is on the roof.

Some building tips.

From the plans cut out the wing, rudder , stab,
pylon and fuselage.
Glue the small peices to a sheet of balsa and cut out.
make sure the glue can be easily removed.

With the wing and fuselage just mark the balsa and
use a straight edge to get it straight.

Instead of the launch hook on plans use a 3/16" x 3/8" x 1/16"
peice of hard balsa(like guillows wood) and CA it to the side
of the fuselage about 3/16" from the front so you have room for the
ballast.

For a higher launching plane make the front of the fuselage
shorter so you use more ballast thus more weight.

You might want to sand the pylon so there is 1 - 2 degree
angle of incedence.

When putting the dihedral in the wings
cut through the bottom of the wing part way then break.
Then mix up some putty with duco and balsa dust and
use to fill in the gap.

Sand in an airfoil and undercamber before splitting.
Sand the rudder and stab round in front and taper in the back.

For Dihedral place on a jig like in the following picture.

Note: the Square tipper actually has angled wing tips
square tipper sounds better than angled tipper.
