United for No Injustice, Oppression or Neglect, U.N.I.O.N. alerts you to
ATTEND AN IMPORTANT HEARING
Visits are in danger! More Lockdowns on the way!
May 22, 2000

The new Close Custody Regs affects many inmates with long sentences who have earned medium supervision. They will now be changed to high security status!

A crowd is needed to save regular visits, prevent more lockdowns and more overtime for guards. We cannot stand by without protest!

WHO Does This Affect? You. All families of inmates who care about their loved ones, must show up or your loved ones will go unrepresented! This is so important, you must attend or get someone to represent your family. If you cannot attend, send $30 so that we can send a homeless person in your place. If you have an inmate inside, this is YOUR personal responsibility. No crowds? CDC rules against you!

WHY: To show the Department of Corrections, the Governor, the Legislators and the Media that prisoner families are opposed to more restrictions. Regs are online at
http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/Parliament/2398/closecustody.htm.
Fight back or be a victim of a bigger voting group, the choice is yours.
