Following the Mongol Empire we will now look at developments in Eurasia. The impact of long distance trade, the impact of the Black Death and the restoration of political order will be examined. Christendom, Islam, India and China all had varying responses but there were generally broad patterns that we will see. For instance, the dependency on a dynastic form of rule to rebuild the state.
