These pictures were taken when I went "Buffalo Hunting" with Brian one day in the fall. It was a gorgeous evening for a drive, and we actually saw our first buffalo just south of Rae-Edzo. We drove past the North Arm Park, and down the highway about an extra half an hour to 40 minutes. Then we stopped the car, Brian had a cigarette, then we turned around and drove back to Yellowknife. It was a three hour tour just to see buffalo. They were the first buffalo Brian had seen, and I think he quite enjoyed them. I've seen lots, so for me it was just a nice excuse to go for a mini-road-trip.
This picture is simply to show that occasionally Yellowknife gets "fall" colors. I think this is the only set of trees I saw in the two or three days that we called fall that had red leaves. It was very pretty.
