Meet Board Members!
I'm Stephanie.  I have two kids.  Romeo is 3 and Destiny is 8 months old.  We live in South Carolina.  I was interested in cloth diapering Romeo but unfortunately back then I had no support on that issue and I didn't have a computer then.  When I got pregnant with Destiny I had a computer and came across the cloth diaper support board.  I've been here ever since!  We started out with prefolds and covers.  Now we just use AIOs.  I figured it would be a lot easier for my SO and and my mom to use on her.
I'm Heather, 23 years old, married to Andy and wahm to Lakin Leigh, born July 16, 2001 and baby #2 due this fall.  We live in SC.  Lakin has been in cloth diapers since she was 6 months old and the new baby will be cloth diapered from the beginning.  Our favorite cds are our Little Dumplings and Manyducks AIOs . . . though prefolds and BSWW work great too!
I'm Sallie, 27, and I'm from Rocklin, CA.  We've been cding since Logan was 6 months old, and he will be one November 15.  During the day we use a variety of AIOs - Happy Heiny's, Chumbas, Southern Snugglers, Bumkins, Kushies, pocket dipes that my mom makes, and WeePants.  At night we use FuzziBunz with two JoeyBunz and a fleece topped hemp doubler from SMJAE.  I never thought I'd get into cding.  I thought the diapers were cute enough, but that it was disgusting and old fashioned.  I'm eating my words big time. :)  I'm a total addict and I love it!
I am Tricia, mommy to four kids: Danny-9, Katy-6, Sean-5, Thomas-2.  My kids are in a parochial school and I am very involved there.  I live in Kansas City.
My name is Katherine, I'm 19 and I live in Kentucky!  I have been with my husband Rodney for four years, married for two.  We decided to try to get pregnant only 2 months after we got married, and it worked right away!  Logan was born August 11, 2001.  When I thought about cloth diapers, I thought of pins, prefolds, and plastic pants.  Boy was I wrong!  I came to the board not knowing anything about cloth, since then I have learned so much.  I will never use disposies again!  All my future babies will be cloth diapered.
I am Pam (35) wahmama to Mike 12, who was exclusively CD'd through a diaper service with CPF's and dappis. (I've come a looong way baby!)  Ally, and Abby 20 months. They are exclusively CD'd and wear Grannys Ark, FMBG, Molly Togs, CPF's and covers, you name it and we have probably tried it.  We started Grannys Ark 1 year ago today. I am so loving the creativity it affords me, as well as a bit of extra income, and an incredible relationship with my mom.
My name is Nicole, my daughter is Sarah.  Sarah is the inspiration for my web business, www.sarahsserenityshop.com.  I am a totally AP and crunchy kind of mother.  I am a recovering addict who has two years clean.  I own two dogs, five horses, and two ponies . . . and NO I'm not wealthy but they supported me for the last ten years as my lesson horses so I owe it to them, as soon as I can start teaching riding lessons again I will.  I work very part time at a law firm and I go to school in massage therapy.  I am 31 years old, and I am living at home with my parents for the first time in over ten years.  I love cloth diapering.  I have cloth diapered since birth.  I am still breastfeeding, my daughter has a severe wheat allergy.  I cosleep with my daughter.
Jenni Moma to Jack Francis my 5 lb preemie turned into a chubby one year old.  WE are AP, BF, co sleep and own www.JacksMagicBeanstalk.com
I am Lynda 42, married to Wayne 46 for 23 years this Nov. 17    We have 3 children.  Justin/21, Jenna/19 married to Derek/21 and expecting their first baby May 15.  Then my baby is Micah/16  We have homeschooled all our children.  My DH is a computer nerd and also a youth pastor at a local Assemblies of God church.  We had a vasectomy when Micah was 6 months old.  This became a big regret in our lives.  So we had it reversed in 96.  We have not had any pregnancies yet but are still praying God will open my womb.  I came across the cloth diaper board and became addicted REAL fast. : )  For now I collect cloth diapers for others and try to spread my addiction to them. LOL  In the near future I am hoping to be a foster mom to infants who are to be adopted.  SO that means I can buy cloth diapers for me!!!!!!  And I hope if I get to meet the adoptive moms I can show them the wonderful world of cloth and wearing their babies.
I'm Tiff a first-time Momma at 22 years old.  I have 2 unofficial stepchildren, though: SS Demetrius is 8 & SD Janaishia is 4.  Leila is my 9 month old pride of joy.  I started using disposables, but really wanted to do cloth as soon as I knew I was pregnant ... like so many, though, I thought that meant pins & such which I was way too scared to use!  Another cybermom gave me some links & my search began! It took a good month before I could make my mind up what to try.  Started out at the Swapshop & eBay till I found what worked.  In the Finger Lakes Region of NY where we live, I've gotten soooooooo many wonderful comments on how cute the dipes are, but then I have to explain how it could really save a person lots of $$$ as well as the fact that she no longer has her bad cracking, peeling, bleeding allergic reaction like she did from the chemicals in disposables.  I can't tell you how proud it feels to have so many people - strangers as well as family/friends tell me they are amazed at the wonderful job I'm doing as Leila's mom ... mostly b/c I am young & so people have prejudices against young moms.  I'll continue to lobby the use of cloth dipes until my dying day!
