| It was a cold morning for the last trial of the season. After having coffee and donuts provided by Dan Kane, the beaglers painted and measured dogs, then cast them on old crusty snow. It was 15 degrees farenheit. The puddles were frozen on the edges but the dogs would break through in the middle. Running was tough but they picked it out and ran the run hours. Some of the dogs had sore feet as one could imagine. It was a good trial nonetheless and the beaglers enjoyed a tailgate lunch of venison chili and roast beef sandwiches provided by Roy Mays and Al Fraser.
