For the 2009 trial season, the Canadian Beagle Fox Trial Association will be hosting 8 trials - 5 single-day trials, 2 two-day trials, and a Derby trial as noted above. The 2-day trials will be hosted in a different pen each day.

Championship points earned at each day's trial will accumulate toward the title of Beagle Fox Champion (BFC). Dogs placing 1st thru 10th will accumulate championship points.

In the 2-day trials, the field scores are earned by each hound each day, and will accumulate toward the hound's final trial score for that weekend. Only dogs entered on Saturday are eligible to compete on Sunday, provided the hound wasn't scratched, and finished Saturday's competition with positive score. Dogs will be entered with the same number on both days. The accumulated scores of both days will determine the winning and placing dogs. Plaques are awarded for 1st through 10th place.

Judges will be announced the day of the trial.

Entry fees are $20 for all trials.
