1. Club Meeting. The Lowcountry Stargazers meet at 7:30 p.m.
on the first Friday of every month in room 126 at the College of Charleston
Physics Department Building (on the corner of George Street and Comings). Our next meeting will be June 6, 2003.
2. Message from Kevin Bays
“Kirsten,
Glad to hear from you.
How are things in Charleston? Are you back doing lots of star parties for
schools? How is the family?
I've changed gears
recently. I now work at Kitt Peak as an observing technician in the Nightly
Observing Program. That's for the public to come up and look through our
16" and new 20" scopes. I never thought I was working on a resume
while I was setting up my scope for people to look at all those years . . . .
on the other hand, it's just part time. Not enough to pay the bills forever.
I'm back in college too.
Good luck and take
care.
Kevin”
