Sadistic, high-flying, and CRAZY! These words and many more can describe all of Crazy Joe. Crazy Joe began his career in challenging (Original) C-X leader, Calypso. Crazy Joe wanted to be apart of C-X, and Calypso wanted him to prove himself that he would make C-X more powerful than ever. In their epic battle, Crazy Joe got himself Disqualified and Calypso liked what he saw. A few events later, C-X (Calypso, Meteor, and Crazy Joe) entered the ring and The Meteor basically told Crazy Joe that C-X was too big for the three of them. Crazy Joe challenged him to a match where the loser must leave C-X. After a long contest, BBA World Heavyweight Champion The Meteor defeated Crazy Joe to kick Joe out. Crazy Joe's night was not over though, as he challenged The Meteor for a rematch. The Meteor accepted his challenge, but the World Heavyweight Title would be on the line instead of C-X membership. To the surprise of many, Crazy Joe defeated The Meteor to gain the World Heavyweight Championship. After successfully defending the BBA Title against Bucktooth Willy, Crazy Joe would lose the World Championship to Calypso a few weeks later.

A invitational for C-X membership would take place, where Johnny Shotgun (then known as The Arch Angel) took on Bucktooth Willy. Crazy Joe would insert himself in the match, and won it all back. C-X was again a three person unit, and the would go on to destroy all BBA Superstars. In his days of being a C-X member, Crazy Joe would win the World Television Championship on one occasion, and the Hardcore Championship on two different occasions. C-X ruled all aspects of the BBA in 2000, and showed true domination by capturing every BBA Championship for a brief stint.

Crazy Joe would go on to become the fan-favorite, and rivaled the popularity of fellow C-X member, Calypso. After comedic performances in "Drunk Match", getting lost in the snow, and participating in the Anywhere Match for the TV Title; it was pretty evident that Crazy Joe's star was rising. Calypso may have seen this as a potential threat...

Crazy Joe was scheduled to fight Calypso, The Meteor, Bucktooth Willy, and Arch Angel for the Hardcore Championship at BBA "Please Forgive Me". C-X's plan was to take out Bucktooth and Arch Angel to help Calypso successfully defend the title. In this match, we saw Crazy Joe attack The Meteor for a brief period, to much the surprise of the BBA fans. C-X would be able to put things behind them, until the unthinkable happened. Calypso would turn and deliver the Twisted Piledriver to Crazy Joe to the shock of all. Arch Angel and Bucktooth Willy would leave the scene, and The Meteor would go to connect with The Meteorite on Crazy Joe. It had become apparent that Calypso & The Meteor did not want Crazy Joe to be the centerpiece of C-X any longer. The fans were outraged, as C-X had turned on Crazy Joe. Despite the odds stacked against him, Crazy Joe would go on to connect a Double Psycho Stunner to capture the Hardcore Championship back in that very match.

Later in the night, C-X were going to defend the Tag-Team Championships against a team T.B.A. Arch Angel came out, and we waited for his mystery partner. It was Crazy Joe! Crazy Joe and Arch Angel would go on to capture the Tag-Team Championships from Calypso and The Meteor to form "Forsaken"! In their only defense of the Tag-Titles, Forsaken would successfully defend the Tag-Titles against C-X in the BBA's only B.L.C. Match. After wrestling a few random shows in early 2001, Forsaken were stripped of the Tag-Titles because of Crazy Joe's injuries. Crazy Joe would return in Summer 2001, but would be fired for personal differences with BBA Owner, Craig Dixon.

It seemed like we'd never hear from him again, but in the Summer of 2002, Crazy Joe would make his re-debut against Don Davis. The personal rivalry between Calypso and Crazy Joe looked like it had not boiled over yet as they stared down each other that very day (as Mike Savage and M80 did the same). But to the shock of all: Crazy Joe shook Calypso's handand Mike Savage ripped off M80's shirt to reveal a black shirt that said "cX". The Next Generation cX would be formed, with Calypso, M80, Crazy Joe, and Mike Savage as it's members. At BBA "Hotter Than Hell" 2002, Crazy Joe was the only cX member to lose his match (to Backlash Brady), thus getting him kicked out of cX and temporarily suspended. He would not return after getting kicked out C-X for the third time and final.
