Disclaimers in part one -------------------------- The kiss. It haunted her every waking moment, and, to tell the truth, Danae was damn sick of it. She would never admit to herself that she wanted it as much as he did, and tried to hide behind an aura of professionalism. Obi-Wan, meanwhile, had become more tolerable, but he was still the cocky bastard she'd originally met. However, his attempts to be civil had given him somewhat a higher regard in Danae's book. She had made her rounds for the day and was about to head to the cantina for a drink when she realized that he was probably lonely and dying for some attention. She picked up a cake and headed over to his "room." "How ya feelin, Obi?" Danae plopped down into the tiny chair next to his bed and watched his eyes roll at her presence. "I thought I already suffered through your presence today." he shot in his overly-cultured voice. That same voice could be full of life and happiness if he was caught in the proper mood, but now it was dripping with acidic sarcasm. "Hey, I brought you a cake. Chocolate cake." Danae opened the box and took a whiff of it. "Mmmm...chocolate frosting.." She trailed her hand through the icing and slathered it on Obi-Wan's nose. He laughed then, licking the chocolate from Danae's fingers and suckling them a bit longer than necessary. "Mmm...Danae." Obi-Wan saw her blue eyes widen at his implications and he merely replied with a nibble on her thumb. She sighed, and removed her hand, licking off the remaining chocolate and relishing Obi-Wan's taste. "You know, this little interlude of yours won't last long. You're nearly well." Danae emphasized her point by poking his thigh, nodding when she noticed him flinch only slightly. "You mean to tell me that this...this is just a painful illusion? That you don't feel anything for me? Danae, I've never loved anyone before. I love you. At least, I think I love you. How can you explain the fact that I want to be around you all the time even when you're cold to me?" Obi-Wan's voice took on a pleading note and Danae found herself unable to tear her eyes away from his breathtaking face. She put the cake aside and slid her chair closer to his bed, trying to gauge his response when she ran her hand through his hair. He sighed, and planted a kiss on her wrist. "I don't want to fall for you, General Kenobi. You'll hurt me. Maybe not intentionally, but I don't want to give my heart to a man who may or may not die the next day. I just wish we could have met somewhere different..." Her speech was cut off by his mouth on hers, dueling in a way only he knew how. He dragged her on top of him as best he could, reveling in the feel of her light body over his. Her breasts were crushed against his chest and he brushed them lightly with his thumbs. He snaked his hands down her waist and squeezed her buttox, effectively crushing her against his crotch. She gasped, realizing that he was hard for *her.* She wiggled on him, ready to give herself to him, reaching for her tunic... "Mast...oh dear." Sienn and Rayna, two new padawans fresh from the temple, came into the enclosure. Danae instantly rolled off Obi-Wan, embarassed that she'd let her libido think for her. "Yes?" she addressed the padawans curtly. Wait until THIS got around the camp. "Uh, we heard noises and we thought Master Kenobi was in distress. We'll be leaving now." With that, both girls left, giggling furiously. Danae turned her gaze onto Obi-Wan, giving him a harsh glare. "Don't ever do that to me again. I...I lost control." She turned to leave, but Obi-Wan stopped her. "No. I love you, damnit. If you didn't return my feelings, I'd understand. But I don't understand denying yourself the pleasure. We could be so good, Danae. Give me a chance?" His mouth quirked up in a pleading gesture and Danae left, knowing she wouldn't be able to resist him for long. --------------- Loved it, hated it?
