Review
The original Art's is THE friendly "neighborhood bar" for people in Mt. Pleasant (and those of you who live elsewhere, but want to be in this neighborhood).

It's small, but cozy, and decorated with the standard "neighborhood bar" decor--beer signs, TVs, and games (including the ever-popular Golden Tee and a special, special Turkey Hunting game).  Art's is a great place to see your favorite local musician, especially acoustic musicians and bands, but it's an intimate venue, so get there early if you want to sit down.  This intimacy adds to the feeling and aura of the music, so you won't have that packed-in-a-sardine-tin feeling that you can get at other establishments.

The clientele is a mix of everyone and anyone  that you can imagine, so I won't go into detail there.  The one thing I DID notice was that people were there to relax, kick back, and truly have a good time.  No posturing or wanna-bes here.  Just your "neighborhood bar" kind of people.  Are you getting the hint yet?

There's lots of laughing and joking around, and a good time was had by all the night we were there--and I'm sure there's more to be had.  So put on your "just hanging out" clothes, grab your friends, and head out to Art's.
