Location: At the City Marina; you can park for a fee right outside if you wish
Bar Staff: Incredibly friendly--Billy from Eurogression was serving up suds!
Bathrooms: They ARE upstairs, which could pose a problem for some people
Clientele: After-work crowd; sailing crowd; locals of all ages
Atmosphere: Laid-back...you might think you're in someone's rec room instead of a bar

	Located beneath a restaurant at the Charleston City Marina, Salty Mike's Deck Bar is almost like going to a party in a friend's basement. The atmosphere is very relaxed and very cool. They have two pool tables, several booths and tables, a full bar (with extremely friendly service) and of course, a Golden Tee video game. It is a very intimate setting to check out your favorite local artist or grab a beer with your buds. Another facet of Salty Mike's is that it's well, kinda quirky...The bathrooms are located in the restaurant upstairs, there are free snacks set out on the bar, and the decor is...uncategorical (to use my favorite new made-up word). But all those quirks make Salty Mike's a unique place in a city where most establishments have to cater to the tourist as well as the local. This place is off the beaten path of downtown streets, it's on the water, and it's as relaxed as it gets. SS
