Consultant
Summary
- You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the
college's Computer Training and software consulting.
Designing and developing training material for in-house and
corporate training. In daily tasks, Training the other training
staff, conducting Classroom Lectures/Tutoring.Responsible for
corporate training. You should be willing to travel within UK.
Ensure that students/coprate clients get quality education
use their computers and access the
network productively. As a result, you must be able to work
as effectively with people from different cultures as you
work with hardware and software.
- As a software consultant, you will be designing and
developing various business applications using Visual Basic,
Java and databases.Should be able to provide short term and
Long term I.T solutions,perform Software installations.
Must be able to prioritise and resolve these problems and
convey solutions to the users in language they understand
(whether they're Asian or Europeans). An open dialogue
between you and users is critical to efficiently resolving
issues and identifying current and future needs so you must
be able to speak English, Hindi,Urdu and Gujarati.
- You will get enquiries from Asian Community to provide
Computing Services including Web designing, database
management, e-solutions, software & hardware
troubleshooting and updating and etc.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, Test and implement new software applications.
satisfy client's software needs. Provide cost effective soultions
to our clients. Both short term and long term IT requirements of our
clients should be dealt with independently. Responsible to
provide I.T consulting services and install and upgrade existing
hardware (such as printers) and software applications,
Monitor server and network performance for optimal
operation, Control the user account management process,
Resolve problems experienced by end users, Maintain user
accounts, allocations of disk space, and access to
resources, College database management.
- Computing Services including web designing, database
management and etc.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from an
accredited institution or equivalent experience.
- System Analysis & Design.
- Training experience on various platforms windows, Unix.
- Complete knowledge of latest Piracy Act and Copy Rights
Act.
- Patience and understanding in working with individuals
with various learning styles and abilities from diverse
cultures.
- Ability to work within a friendly, cooperative
manner.
- Flexibility and willingness to embrace rapid change.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including
English and Urdu.
Additional Compulsory Requirements
- The candidate should be able to speak, write and read
a Total of 4 south asian languages including Hindi, Gujarati and
Urdu, and one south indian language, Telugu or tamil.
- As we are "Computing Services provider" as well to Asian
Community including Web designing and programming, database
management, e-solutions, hardware and software
troubleshooting & upgrading and etc. So you must be able
to understand not only Computing solutions but also Urdu,
Gujarati, Hindi and English language as well. Strong spoken
and written communication skills in Asian languages are
essential for this post. Knowledge of any European language
is an advantage.
- Physical and mental capacity to perform all of the
duties of the Software and Training
consultant.
