Pet stores buy their puppies from Back Yard Breeders and Puppy Mills for $100-$200 each and sell them to you for over $1000! Please go to your local SPCA and give an animal a second chance or contact a rescue shelter in your town, there are lots of them! By supporting pet stores we are supporting Puppy Mills that breed puppies over and over not caring for them at all. My friends that live in puppy mills live in horrible conditions, with little food or water. We are used as money making machines. With no contact with the other puppies and no backyards to play with, all we do is cry all day. Trust me, I used to be one of them...
