in order to remember all those
who have been so terribly hurt by
the tragic events of

September 11th 2001
in the United States of America

Please take a quiet moment
to offer thoughts for the victims, their families and all those who will need our support in their moments of pain and despair.

For love lives on, though some may doubt,
And say death ends it all.

If you must bury something,
let it be my faults and weaknesses, and all prejudice against my fellow man
Give my sins to the devil
Give my soul to God.
If by chance , you wish to remember me,
do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you.
If you do all I have asked, I will live Forever.

Make me a channel of your peace:
Where there is hatred let me bring your love,
Where there is injury, your pardon, Lord,
And where there's doubt, true faith in you:
O Master grant that I may never seek
So much to be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand,

It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
In giving ourselves that we receive,

Please keep goodness in your hearts.
For it is in the haste to blame and become angry,
that we lose sight of the power of love and compassion,
of caring and support that is needed.
Look around you,
change the way you view your world, the people within it.
Value those around you,
no matter who they may be,
appreciate life, in all it's many guises.

It is in the way we continue to live our lives,
that will honour those who have gone before us,
and teach those who are to follow.

My thoughts and my prayers are with all of you ,
whoever, and wherever you are, upon this day.
