1934 Chrysler Airflow(Promotional Car)
The Pace car was Lasalle. Chrysler, Hudson, and even Pontiac all got in to the promotional car act in 1934. In the Closest finished to date, "Wild Bill" Cummings in his four cilinder Miller/Offenhauser finished just 27 second ahead of Mary Rose. It was the first time a four cilinder Miller won at Indy.
