| This is Lofoten, pretty far north in the country This is a place traditionally known for fishing and swearing fishermen.. There is even a childrens song about the haddocks in Lofoten.. Life was rough here, and a lot of the men here died at sea working to get food to their families. Its still a fishing village, but now tourism contributes too.. |

| This is a Stavkirke. Its the oldest one left in Norway, and it's made completly out of wood and covered in tar for isolation. It was a common way for people in the "old times" to build churches. It's build with a special technique that's not in use anymore. |
