This is Larvik, this picture is taken in the winter.. obviously....
This is Lillehammer situated in the middle of Norway. The building in the left of the picture is the Vikingskip where some of the events in the Winter Olympics were held in 1994.
This is Lofoten, pretty far north in the country
This is a place traditionally known for fishing and swearing fishermen..  There is even  a childrens song about the haddocks in Lofoten..

Life  was rough here, and a lot of the men here died at sea working to get food to their families.

Its still a fishing village, but now tourism contributes too..
This is Prekestolen. It's well known for its steep mountain side, and is often used by paragliders and people throwing themselves of with a parachute.
A typical winter picture from the countryside in middle of Norway and in the north. It's not much snow in the south of the country, it used to be, but its less and less every year....
This is a Stavkirke. Its the oldest one left in Norway, and it's made completly out of wood and covered in tar for isolation. It was a common way for people in the "old times" to build churches. It's build with a special technique that's not in use anymore.
This is a celebration of St. Hans. It takes place at summer solictice on June 23. Everyone lights a fire and stay out barbecuing and partying as long as they can stay awake.
