I live on the east coast in the suburbs of Baltimore.
I am a teacher of severely emotionally disturbed teens. IT'S NOT A JOB, IT'S AN ADVENTURE !
I work with adolescents between the ages of 11 and 18 in a private psychiatric hospital setting. While there are days when life can be very stressful, most days are very rewarding. There are a lot of kids out there that have had a really bad go of it. Their stories would bring tears to your eyes.
My own family has "flew the coop," something you won't hear me complaining about! I have 3 children, a boy and 2 girls. Two live here in the Baltimore area and my oldest daughter is married, and lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I am a licensed pilot, but I don't get a chance to take to the skies much anymore. And after a lifetime of tennis and ruined knees, I now enjoy using my free time for reading, old movies, good music and surfing the net! I love a good game of pool, swimming in a pool, and a good football pool will get me excited, too! I also love to take a ride up to Atlantic City and play the craps tables and blackjack tables. I also dabble seriously in writing, I've written a few short stories, and I am working on putting together a WEBSITE where everyone can offer the fruits of their own labor for others to enjoy and critique.
