The smiling general had gone away.
Former second president of Indonesia, former president Soeharto, died in
the RSPP hospital in Jakarta on 27 January 2008. Up to is death there were
still some controversies among those who supporting him and those who
opposing him.
His supporters often mentioned about his good deeds to Indonesia, among
which was the stable 7% rate of economic growth, and some other things
like good economic condition, high stability and others.
Those opposing him kept on reminding about his legacy of bloodshed,
human rights abuses and corruption on a colossal scale.
Sometimes there were also some suspicions on me because when I was in the
Senior High School, I was at the same school with her daughter Titiek. I
could have been suspected of also have gained some corruption kind of
wealth from my relationship with her.
I would have own my own house and cars if I did such a thing.
