You want to amputate my ..... what?!?

My Favorite Aunt's kitty is 17 years old and has an icky cyst about a quarter way down her tail. It's not cancerous, but it's not a good thing either. She's had it for years and it's now becoming a big problem by bursting open often.  Today Ms. Hildegard is undergoing surgery and will have some of her tail amputated. Let's hope everything goes well for her. I love that kitty. I've know her since she was a bratty kitten, who leaped up on the bed and scratched my chest. She's not much of a leaper these days. That's good, though, as she weighs a lot more!

UPDATE: Hildo did okay with the surgery. Her mommy is going to pick her up now.
