The Suffolk CC-Selden men's basketball
team keeps on rolling. The two-time defending NJCAA Division II champ
continued its winning ways with a 99-58 win yesterday over visiting
Burlington (N.J.).
Alvin Dennis had 23 points and seven
rebounds, and Alex McLean had 18 points and 17 rebounds for Suffolk
(2-0), which has won 68 of its last 69 games. The Clippers' last loss
was a 76-73 decision to Sullivan CC on Jan. 18, 2002. Anton Cheese had
17 points and seven assists. Clarence Alonzo had 14 points and Rich
Wrase had 10 rebounds. Burlington is 0-1.
