The castle of John of Hunedoara (John Hunyad) in Transylvania, one of the most famous Romanian defenders of the Middle Age Europe against the Ottoman Turks. In 1456, he managed to stop Mehmed II, the conqueror of Constantinople, at Belgrad in actual Yugoslavia. Then, he died after few days of plague, in the military camp, at Zemun. His son Matthias Corvin was the king of Hungary.
