David Crawford
Name:  David Crawford
Inducted:  May 2001
Position:  Running Back
David started american football with The Lothian Raiders alongside Fraser McAndrew and Stephen Boyd.  Although he did only play in one game.  He started with The Cougars as soon as they started up.  In the beginning he started off as wide receiver, but has moved through various positions to get to where he is now which is Running Back.  He was one of 2 Cougars players to be chosen for the Scotland Squad to play against England - and he scored a TD.  Since his switch to Running Back David has added extra flair to the Cougars Offence.  He is scoring much more TD's now in his Running Back slot.  In his Cougars history he has done it all.  He, along with Fraser McAndrew, went down to Leicester to play the Eagles with the Dundee Storm squad.  Now with the kit here David will be turning more of his attention to contact football, but he is still concentrating on the remaining league games.  For The Cougars, he plays an important part.
