Cristina Dolan         
Entrepreneur and MIT Media Lab alumnae, Cristina Dolan, has spent the past two decades building and bringing to market products and businesses based on Internet, wireless, and other advanced technologies.  As an Internet pioneer, she was a senior executive on the founding teams of Hearst and ABC/Disney's initial Internet launches. (ABC was one of the first sites to offer streaming audio and video from RealNetworks.)  She also led the SNET (telco) UI development of the first generation interactive TV project. Cris was the Director of E-Commerce for the Americas for Oracle where she packaged and marketed early eCommerce solutions to Fortune 50 accounts and partners.  As one of the founders of OneMain, (Grew to be 10th largest ISP after a successful IPO, and later acquired by Earthlink) she conceived and launched the profitable cornerstone business unit, Geographic Communities, in only five months, negotiating over 30 deals and building out the Internet portals. The WordStream board recruited Cris as CEO to commercialize the multilingual search and translation company. She started her career at IBM where she was trained in sales and marketing and won 19 awards for her leadership in working with Fortune 100 Telecom,  Utilities and Financial Services accounts specializing in communications, network managment, enterprise software, multimedia products and services.

Cristina's current consulting work focuses on business development and jump starting initiatives with 'go-to-market' strategies.  She has worked with VeriSign, Motorola Ventures, IBM, GreenStamps Japan, Sector (NYSE Subsidary), and 
beingmeta, establishing partnerships, strategies and distribution channels for Internet, Social Networks, Mobile, photo sharing, interactive advertising, Web 2.0, RSS and loyalty programs.  Currently, Cristina is a GP at Rudyard Partners which focuses on consumer techology opportunities for the global marketplace. She is currently developing partnerships with carriers and photo sharing sites for  Isabella Products/Vizit.

Cristina Dolan was nominated and featured by
Women in Technology International (WITI) for her accomplishments as a leader in the technology field. Selected by the Innovation Accelerator Foundation -- and affiliate of the Kauffman Foundation for Entrepreneurship and spin-out of the MIT Enterprise Forum -- to serve on the Founding Advisory Stable for the IAF's initiative with the National Science Foundations's Small Business Innovation Research Initiative. She has served on the Regional IEEE board and the  Internet Advisory Boards for Netscape and Microsoft . Currently, Cris serves as a board advisor to SmartMatic and a director of Teaching Matters.  As the President of the MIT Club of New York she grew the membership, events and revenue to record levels and as VP of Communications she launched the new logo and bi-yearly newletter that reaches over 9,000 local alumni.  The Career Services Events she launched earned her a MIT Alumni Association Volunteer Honor Roll of Service.  Cristina currently serves as an officer, Immediate Past President, of the MIT Club of New York. Recently, she was asked by the President of MIT to join the MIT Council of the Arts.  As an entrepreneur, she served on the MIT Enterprise Board, Global Chapter, and volunteered as a NFTE mentor advising students starting small companies.  She was the NY City Opera Internet Advisor and a member of the Education Task Force Committee.  Currently, Cristina serves as an officer of the Alumnae Board of Convent of the Sacred Heart in New York City.  She is a past US National Skeleton Champion and placed second in the World Championship. Cristina earned a Master of Media Arts and Science from the MIT Media Lab, a Master of Computer Science Engineering and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.  She speaks Spanish fluently.
