Gene Starwind
*sigh* Okay...I am not sighing because I think he is hunky, cute, or anything having to do with that. I am merely sighing because Gene Starwind is *cough* really *cough* stupid. He is...well...immature. I apalogize to those who like him, but these are MY FEELINGS. I promise, however, that I will not make his bios sound stupid or anything....

Gene Starwind is the young pilot of the Outlaw Star. He's what one would call a tyical guy: likes beer and women. Despite these traits, however, he is always there for his friends when they need him. He can be a real goofball at times, but I guess that makes the show more funny. *cough...starts to snicker*
Unlike Jim, we actually know something about Gene's parents. I am assuming his mother died when he was young, and his father was killed when a pirate ship (the MacDougall's) attacked and destroyed their ship. Not wanting his son to die, Gene's father pushed him into a capsule at the last minute, sending him into space crying and screaming. This is how he got his space phobia. I have to admit, being stuck in a tinsy winsy space thing while knowing your father just sacrificed his life for you, would be mentally scarring.
Though Jim is the one who does all the work, Gene is actually the owner of Starwind and Hawking Enterprises (he even gets to have his name first...). He's not very responsible when it comes to planning out finances or strategies, but he always gets a job done. He is also not very mature...
