1. Back-up C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\cstrike\gfx\shell\splash.bmp

2. Rename your new splash screen to splash.bmp

3. Place into C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\cstrike\gfx\shell\

4. Run Counter-Strike.
